Welcome to MEROPE. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the MEROPE platform, including all related features, services, workspaces, user accounts, content workflows, media assets, approvals, subscriptions, and communications.
By using MEROPE, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any operational rules, notices, or policies published through the platform. If you are using MEROPE on behalf of an organization, media center, agency, company, or other entity, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
MEROPE is a media operations platform designed to support structured content workflows, media asset organization, role-based access, approval processes, journalist access, reporting, and controlled publishing activity. MEROPE may include dashboards, workspace tools, communication features, subscription plans, administrative controls, and other platform functions.
MEROPE is not a legal, financial, editorial, publishing, compliance, public relations, or crisis-management advisory service. Users remain fully responsible for the content they create, upload, review, approve, publish, share, or distribute through or outside the platform.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering or using the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all actions performed under your account.
Organization accounts are responsible for managing their users, roles, permissions, approvals, data, workflows, and internal governance. MEROPE provides tools for access control, but the organization remains responsible for assigning the correct permissions and monitoring user activity.
Any action taken by an authorized user may be treated as an action taken by the organization. MEROPE is not responsible for internal approval mistakes, unauthorized internal decisions, incorrect permission assignments, or misuse by users invited or managed by the organization.
Access to certain MEROPE features may depend on the selected subscription plan. Plan limits, pricing, included features, usage allowances, and renewal rules may vary and may be updated from time to time.
You retain ownership of the content, files, documents, media assets, text, images, communications, approvals, and other materials you upload or create through MEROPE. By using the platform, you grant MEROPE a limited right to host, store, process, display, transmit, and manage such content only as necessary to provide and operate the service.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content is lawful, accurate, authorized, and does not violate any third-party rights, confidentiality obligations, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, media rules, or applicable laws.
You agree not to use MEROPE for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, unauthorized, or high-risk activity. Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:
Journalists or external media representatives may register interest or request access through MEROPE-enabled workflows. Submission of a registration request does not guarantee approval, access, accreditation, publication, communication, or any relationship with a media center or organization.
MEROPE and participating organizations may review, approve, reject, suspend, or remove journalist access at their discretion, especially where information is incomplete, inaccurate, unauthorized, suspicious, or inconsistent with platform or organization requirements.
MEROPE may provide tools for content review, approvals, publishing preparation, journalist access, and operational visibility. However, users and organizations remain fully responsible for final decisions, approvals, released materials, publishing actions, public communications, and any resulting consequences.
MEROPE does not guarantee that any content is legally compliant, accurate, suitable for publication, free from risk, or approved by any external party unless confirmed by the responsible organization through its own process.
MEROPE uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to support platform security and operational continuity. However, no system is completely secure or uninterrupted. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, immune from cyber incidents, or compatible with every device, browser, network, or third-party service.
We may perform maintenance, updates, improvements, security actions, or emergency interventions that may temporarily affect access or performance.
MEROPE may integrate with or rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, email providers, payment services, communication tools, analytics tools, or external links. We are not responsible for third-party outages, errors, pricing changes, policies, data handling, or service limitations.
MEROPE, including its software, platform structure, interface, workflows, design, branding, documentation, features, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to the platform operator. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, reproduce, exploit, or misuse any part of the platform unless expressly authorized in writing.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to MEROPE at any time if we reasonably believe that an account, user, organization, or activity violates these terms, creates legal or security risk, causes harm, abuses platform resources, fails to pay applicable fees, or threatens the integrity of the service.
Upon termination, access to the platform may be disabled. Data retention, export, or deletion may depend on the applicable plan, legal obligations, backup cycles, and operational requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MEROPE and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, reputational, commercial, operational, data-loss, revenue-loss, or profit-loss damages arising from or related to the use of the platform.
MEROPE is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MEROPE, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your content, your users, your organization’s activity, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
We may update the platform, features, pricing, policies, or these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of MEROPE after changes are published means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the platform.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless another jurisdiction is expressly agreed in writing. Any dispute shall be handled by the competent courts or authorities as applicable.
